This is the official list of all the amazing prizes in our 2020 World Vegan Month fundraising raffle, and the winners of the prizes. It also lists the awesome spot prizes and giveaways at at our two 2020 World Vegan Day events.
We'd like to send out a huge THANK YOU to every person and business who generously donated prizes. Some of these people and businesses also provided other forms of support to our two World Vegan Day events. Thanks a million everyone. We love you all.

The Legal/Official Stuff
The Dunedin/Ōtepoti Vegan Society (DŌVeS) ran this raffle throughout November 2020 to raise funds to continue carrying out our three objectives: 1) Supporting the vegan community in Ōtepoti/Dunedin and the surrounding region. 2) Promoting veganism to the wider Ōtepoti/Dunedin community and the surrounding region. 3) Collaborating with and supporting like-minded individuals and groups in our city, our region, and the rest of NZ.
There were 61 prizes with a combined value of $2,829, and there were 750 'tickets' available. The raffle raised $1,184 for DOVeS. It was drawn on Tuesday the 1st of December, under the supervision of local Justice of the Peace, Clive Boock.
Winners will be notified directly via their preferred contact method, as indicated on their tickets, within one week of the draw. The winners are listed on this page, and we will also make an announcement on our Facebook page and our DŌVeS Instagram account.
After the draw, DŌVeS will undertake to deliver the prizes to the winners as soon as is practicable. If they don't wish to wait, winners may arrange to collect the prizes themselves by contacting the raffle organiser, Carl Scott. After consulting the local Ngāi Tahu rūnanga at Otakou marae regarding tikanga pounamu and it's appropriateness as a prize for our raffle, their mana whenua komiti advised us it is acceptable to use it for this purpose.
** Terms & Conditions for our 2nd raffle prize: A night for two people at vegan B&B & animal sanctuary, SOLVE, near Milton. All room details are included at this Booking.com link. If you are the winner of this prize you will choose your dates and then book via the link, and stay will be by availability. This prize will be valid from 1 year of winning. SOLVE is 50km South of Dunedin, and transport will be your responsibility. No animal derived food products allowed at the sanctuary please.
*** Terms & Conditions for our 4th raffle prize: This consists of a $135 credit for a full term of dance classes at RASA School of Dance. It is for Term 1 of 2021, for one class a week, in either Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, or Bollywood dance. The winner will need to email RASA in early January to confirm which style of dance classes they wish to take.

After consulting the local Ngāi Tahu rūnanga at Otakou marae regarding tikanga pounamu and it's appropriateness as a prize for our raffle, their mana whenua komiti advised us it is acceptable to use it for this purpose.

SOLVE is 50km South of Dunedin, and transport will be your responsibility. No animal derived food products allowed at the sanctuary please.
*** Terms & Conditions for our 4th raffle prize: This consists of a $135 credit for a full term of dance classes at RASA School of Dance. It is for Term 1 of 2021, for one class a week, in either Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, or Bollywood dance. The winner will need to email RASA in early January to confirm which style of dance classes they wish to take.
